Mexico Weavers' Project
Supporting Local Women

My textiles are made by the hands of women: housewives, wives, mothers, who work without having to leave their homes, which is especially important for them as they all have young children.

Weaving, in all its forms and styles, is a meditative art, ordering thoughts and emotions, generating new understanding that materialize little by little.

The love of work done through our hands with noble materials, such as wool and cotton, transmits its power, transforming the useful things we make, things beautiful in their simplicity.

Our trade, material and workforce, is local. Our wool is 100% natural, from the region of San Miguel de Allende. We collaborate to maintain the long-standing weaving tradition in our locality.

Through their work, the women who make up my small team of weavers, recover the value of the ancestral, reconnecting with ancient knowledge. The work also brings the concrete value of a well-paid livelihood.
